About COCLB

A family learning to love God and love people

Get to know our story, what we believe and the people God has called to shepherd our church.

Our Story

God’s faithfulness, one season at a time

The Church of Christ at Los Baños, Laguna began with a simple desire: to be a community of believers devoted to Jesus, to His Word and to one another. Through every season, God has been faithful — gathering families, students and neighbors into one church family.

Today we continue that story together, worshipping every Sunday, meeting in LifeGroups throughout the week, and serving our community with the love of Christ.

“Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.”

Lamentations 3:23

Mission & Vision

Why we exist

Our Mission

To love God, serve our neighbors, and make disciples of Jesus Christ — in Los Baños, in Laguna and beyond.

Our Vision

A church after God’s own heart and wisdom: a grace-filled family where everyone can encounter Christ, belong, grow and serve.

What We Believe

The heart of our faith

We hold to the historic Christian faith revealed in the Bible.

God

There is one true God — Father, Son and Holy Spirit — Creator of all, holy and loving.

“God is love.”

Jesus Christ

Jesus is the Son of God, who lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose again and is coming again.

“I am the way, the truth, and the life”

John 14:6 · KJV (excerpt)

The Bible

The Scriptures are God’s inspired Word, our guide for faith and life.

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

Psalm 119:105 · KJV

Salvation

Salvation is God’s gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ, expressed in repentance and baptism.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith”

Ephesians 2:8 · KJV (excerpt)

The Church

The church is the family of God — called to worship, grow, serve and make disciples together.

“Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.”

1 Corinthians 12:27 · KJV

Our Hope

We live with confident hope in Christ’s return and eternal life with God.

“Looking for that blessed hope”

Titus 2:13 · KJV (excerpt)

Our Heart for Los Baños

Loving our neighbors in Laguna

Los Baños is our home — a community of families, students, farmers, scientists and workers. We want to be good news to our neighbors: praying for our city, caring for families in need, and sharing the hope of Jesus in word and deed.

“Seek the peace and prosperity of the city… Pray to the Lord for it.”
